The DanFlow 5000 Uroflowmeter is especially suitable for “in home” examination of patients who may have troubles voiding naturally in the artificial environment of a hospital or medical clinic. It allows for patients to complete the test in the comfort of their own home, so a true record of their lower urinary tract function can be achieved.
It allows for detailed examination of patients under “real life” conditions to give a better representation of the patient’s symptoms in their daily lives without the stress of completing the test in a clinical environment. The DanFlow 5000 can be used in the comfort of the patient’s own bathroom, simply by placing the urine container on top of the DanFlow 5000 before each miction. The software inside of the DanFlow 5000 automatically collects and analyses the flow trace and produces voiding graphs, a statistical analysis summary and a comprehensive report. At the end of the recording period, the DanFlow 5000 can send all test results via email directly to a doctor´s office or it can send all data wirelessly to another unit (i.e. smart phone, tablet or PC) for evaluation.
